Throughout the home buying process, Jim used his knowledge, skills, and professionalism to help us find the perfect house. At the outset of the process, Jim helped us to organize and pinpoint those specific details and features we wanted in a house. He worked tirelessly to put together meaningful house hunting trips that targeted our wants and needs in a home. Jim displayed great patience and humor during all of those long days and nights looking at homes! Jim was able to offer suggestions about house features, taxes, law, construction and many other aspects of the home buying process. The rare times that he did not know the answer to some obscure question, he always took the time to research and answer our questions as soon as possible. Jim always made arrangements for us to see as many houses as we wanted and helped us pare down certain options we chose (essentially saving us from ourselves!). His extreme dedication and persistence on helping us find a home was what ultimately allowed us to find our current home. Jim's connections and constant contact allowed us to see homes the first day they came on the market. With this home, we were the first people to see the house and make an offer, which is of great importance in the current market with limited inventory. His negotiating skills got us an accepted offer in a 3 day bidding situation, with his careful understanding of our budget and the knowledge of the home value. More importantly, Jim continued to be accessible long after signing the contract for our current home. He walked us through many steps as first time home buyers. Again, his patience and knowledge put many of our fears and anxieties at ease. He offered his services many times when my wife or I were unable to get information from the town or some other agency. Additionally, his record keeping and organizational skills saved us from making many unnecessary trips and calls that saved us money for additional services. At our closing yesterday, Jim again showed his warm nature and professionalism, going above and beyond the call of duty. He brought snacks and drinks to make the stressful event more warm and welcoming, as he so often was able to do when seeing homes. We can't thank Jim enough for all of his hard work, dedication, knowledge, humor, and patience (among many other qualities!) that ultimately led us to our first home! He comes highly recommended and you will not be disappointed!
